How to play

You against the computer. First to 10 points wins a round. Win two rounds to win the battle.

  1. You both draw one card from the same shuffled deck.
  2. The caller picks Fight, Catch Difficulty, Rarity, Weight or Length. You and the computer take turns calling.
  3. Reveal both cards. The highest value wins one point. A tie is a missed catch: nobody scores.
  4. Take another cast. Used cards are reshuffled when the deck runs out.

Pike and Perch power

Official Pike 001 or Perch 002? After the reveal, press “Fishling!” to claim the cast, whatever the stats. The computer always claims its mascot. If you both claim, nobody scores. There is no timer: take your time.

Rarity: low to high

A fair opponent

The computer chooses from its own card, using the published deck values. It does not inspect your card when choosing. With two players, Rough Waters works exactly like the normal tie rule.

Your unfinished battle saves in this browser when local storage is available. No account, personal catch data or app connection is needed.
