Draft for launch review · Last updated 27 August 2026
1. About Fishling
Fishling is a fishing learning and catch-logging product intended primarily for beginners and families. It includes educational information, catch records, species guides and Catch Card features.
2. Educational information
Fishing guidance in Fishling is general information, not a guarantee that you will catch a fish. Conditions, fishery rules, seasons, local restrictions, fish welfare guidance and legal requirements can change. Users remain responsible for checking the rules that apply where they fish.
3. Safety
Fishing takes place around water, hooks, lines, weather, wildlife and other hazards. Children should have appropriate adult supervision. Fishling does not replace sensible risk assessment, suitable equipment or local safety advice.
4. Your content
You retain responsibility for catch photos, notes and other content you add. You confirm that you have the right to use content you upload. You allow Fishling to process that content as reasonably necessary to provide app features such as storage, syncing and generating your personal Catch Card.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. Do not share sign-in links or account access with people you do not trust. If you believe an account has been compromised, contact Fishling as soon as possible.
6. Printed products
Any printed Catch Cards or merchandise will be subject to additional ordering information, prices, postage and fulfilment terms shown at the time of purchase. Product ordering is not yet part of this website launch.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Fishling available and protect saved data, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Features may be changed, improved or withdrawn where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance or product development.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another user's information, interfere with security controls, upload unlawful content or use Fishling in a way that harms other users or the service.
9. Contact
Use the contact page for questions about these terms.
